Our Mission and Outreach efforts begin at home and reach to the far corners of the world.
When you join us for freshly-brewed coffee following worship, you can enjoy it knowing that the farmer who grew it was paid a sustainable wage. We adopted a Fair Trade program that allows us to buy coffee, tea, and cocoa from Equal Exchange at wholesale prices. In addition, we support local food pantries, social service agencies, and charities, incudling the Weymouth Food Pantry and Interfaith Social Services.
The UCC's Our Church's Wider Mission (OCWM) supports the work of our denomination with emergency aid and relief efforts.
Each year our children stuff shoe boxes with school supplies, toiletries and gifts that are sent around the world through Operation Christmas Child, one of many ministries of Franklin Graham's Samaritan's Purse organization.
From time to time, we harness our skills and our muscles to help out some of our own members who are no longer able to care readily for their homes. We've done everything from chopping down trees, landscaping, rebuilding ramps, installing refrigerators and good old-fashioned cleaning.
